How to Fix a Yellowish Color in an SD3500
Yellowish hues in your photos indicate that your camera’s white balance setting is not adjusting properly to lighting conditions; this typically happens indoors, where artificial light may confuse the camera’s sensor. The Canon PowerShot SD3500 has a selection of white balance presets that can be accessed while in program AE mode. You can also set white balance manually with the “Custom” white balance option.

Push the mode switch to the center option to put the camera in manual mode.

Touch “P” to enter Program AE mode.

Touch “FUNC.” and select “AWB” from the menu.

Touch the white balance preset that best matches your current shooting environment. You can also manually set white balance by tapping “Custom,” aiming the camera at a neutral white color until the viewfinder is completely filled and then tapping the “Evaluate White Bal.” icon.

Tap the “Back” icon twice to return to normal shooting mode.
