How to See the Number of Mutual Friends on Digg

Digg does not provide an automatic way to see the number of mutual friends between you and someone following you. However, you can visit each follower's profile and review her followers list to discover mutual connections. You will also need to manually count each mutual friend on a person's followers list and tally the results.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the down arrow next to your profile image in the top menu bar. Click the "Following" option from the drop-down list.

    • 2

Click the name link of the person with whom you want to compare mutual friends. On the next screen, click the "Followers" link.

    • 3

Review the people on the followers list. If the button to the right of a person's name says "Following," that person is a mutual friend. If the button says "Follow," then you are not currently following that person on Digg, or vice versa. Click the button to start following that person.

Make a tally mark on a piece of paper for each mutual friend on the friend's followers list you're viewing. Count the results to see the number of friends you have in common with that particular follower.
