Making Bebo Skinz
Bebo, which is short for “Blog Early Blog Often,” is a social networking platform that enables users to share information and keep up with friends and family. It is similar to Facebook and other social platforms, but one advantage of Bebo is that users can customize their profile backgrounds and other visual elements. This process of customization is known as creating a "skin" for your Bebo profile. The procedure is relatively simple if you have photo-editing software available.

Launch your photo-editing software. Any application such as Adobe Photoshop, GIMP or Microsoft Paint will work as long as you can size your images to specific dimensions.

Create the seven images necessary to make a Bebo skin. The images that you will need for your Bebo skin are the navigation background, main background, main footer, main icon, module header, module background and module line. Each image must be sized correctly. The navigation background must be 760 pixels wide by 40 pixels in height, and the main background must be 760 by 375 pixels. The main footer must be 11 by 15 pixels; the main icon 20 by 20; and the module header 375 by 44 pixels. Make the module background 375 by 50 pixels. The module line should be 32 x 3 pixels.

Open a Web browser, navigate to the Bebo website and log in to your account.

Click "Bebo" and select "Change Skins." Click "Roll Your Own" and choose "Add a New Skin." Type a name for the skin in the next menu.

Click the "Upload Graphics" option and select your seven custom graphics to upload to Bebo. Click "Edit Stylesheet" if you want to change the colors of your fonts to match your graphics. Click "Use This Skin" to set the skin to your profile.

Tips & Warnings
You can use free graphics available on the Web or create your own images using graphics-editing software.
If you do not size your graphics to the appropriate dimensions, the images will not display properly in your Bebo profile.
