2. Fill in a username, email and password in the dialog box that appears as soon as you click the "upload" button. This step will create an account to which your free points will be assigned.

3. Login to your email and click on the link in the confirmation message to activate your account.

4. Click on the "Upload" button on the top-right corner of your account page. Click on the "Select Files" button in the dialog box to find files on your hard drive that you want to upload to Rapidshare. Upload as many files as you want to the system, keeping in mind that the more you upload, the more likely you are to attract downloading users' attention and earn points.

General Tips

1. Upload movies in RMVB format. This format has the same quality as formats like AVI or MP4, but is considerably lighter, making your movie uploads more desirable for the downloading users that earn you points.

5. Advertise your uploads by posting the download links (provided every time you upload something to Rapidshare) on relevant forums or sending them to friends or contacts that might be interested in the content.
