How to Hook a Pedal Board to a Wireless System

Wireless guitar systems are hooked up to guitar pedal boards in similar fashion to non-wireless connections. Consisting of a wireless transmitter plugged into the instrument and a radio receiver physically connected to an amplifier, the receiver is an input/output device that can accept external guitar effects pedal boards within the signal path.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off all device power switches and volume controls.

Turn all devices on and adjust volumes and controls to desired levels.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can substitute cables with different lengths to suit individual setups.

  • Purchase the highest quality cables you can afford to prevent or limit noise, frequency signal loss and radio frequency, or RF, interference.

  • For best results, follow all manufacturer's recommendations for setting receiver volume levels and unit placement.

  • Guitar cables of excessive length may inhibit high-end frequencies and cause wireless transmission issues.
