How to Get Solid Snake on "Garry's Mod"
"Garry's Mod" is a sandbox physics game based on the popular Valve Source engine. Although the game does not have an objective and story line, players can use the game's set of tools to create and test scenarios. The game comes with dozens of objects for users to include in their scenarios, and this object collection can be enhanced by adding custom objects created by other players. For example, you can add and use Solid Snake, the main protagonist of the Metal Gear game.

Turn on the computer and open the Web browser. Navigate to "garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=8670" and click the "Download File" button to start downloading the Solid Snake archive.

Save the archive anywhere on your hard disk drive. Open WinRAR and use it to extract the archive somewhere on your hard disk drive. A folder named "Solid_Snake" will be created.

Right-click the Solid_Snake folder and click on "Copy" in the resulting menu.

Use the file browser to navigate to "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons." Replace "username" with your Steam username. Right-click somewhere in the white space and click "Paste" in the resulting menu. The Solid_Snake folder will be copied inside the addons folder.

Start "Garry's Mod," create a new game, go to the Spawn menu and you will see Solid Snake as an object. Add it to your game.
