How to Create Multiple Yahoo Search Marketing Accounts

Driving traffic to your website is the way to increase page views and encourage sales. Some options available to you to gain new visitors include: referrals, word of mouth, placement within search engines, or by placing pay-per-click ads. Yahoo Search Marketing offers users the ability to create pay-per-click targeted ads to maximize advertising dollars. If you want to use targeted ads for several websites, Yahoo allows you to create multiple accounts so that you can use a separate account for each website.

Instructions

Go to the Yahoo Search Marketing Sign-Up page, then click the "Select a Market" drop-down box and select the geographic location where you want to target your ads.

Click the "Get Started" button, then click "Start Advertising Now."

Fill out the required information in the fields on the Sign-Up page. For example, enter your personal information, company information and credit card information in the appropriate fields.

Click the "Terms and Conditions" check box, then click "Submit." Your new Yahoo Search Marketing account number displays on the Sign-Up Confirmation page. The company also sends an email to your registered address with your account number and details about setting up your first campaign.

Follow the instructions to set up your first campaign, such as choosing your time zone and entering the text for your ad in the appropriate boxes. Click "Submit" to submit your ad for approval.

Go back to the Yahoo Search Marketing Sign-Up page and sign up for a new account. Enter the same information in the Sign-Up page as the first account, such as the same credit card. Submit the information as before. The new account is automatically added to your first account and is accessible through the dashboard in your first account. For example, click the "Dashboard" tab in your Yahoo Search Marketing account, then click the "Account" drop-down box. Select an account to view its details. Repeat the process to create another account.
