How to Iron a Nylon Jacket
Nylon is a strong, durable fabric with an attractive, lustrous appearance. Because the fabric is lightweight and water-resistant, it is often used to make jackets. Unlike natural fibers such as cotton, linen, wool or silk, nylon is a man-made fiber made from petrochemicals. Like most man-made fabrics, nylon is washable and easy to care for, but may be damaged when exposed to heat. If you have a wrinkled nylon jacket, iron the jacket with care. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
A clothes dryer is a safe way to remove wrinkles from a nylon jacket. Moisten the jacket lightly with a spray bottle, then place the jacket in the dryer with the heat set on low. Remove the jacket from the dryer and hang it up while it's still warm. Usually, wrinkles fall out easily as the jacket cools.
