How to Replace Shoe Heel Caps
Walking on pavement in your favorite designer shoes can cause the heel cap to wear out quickly. That can mean repeated visits to the shoe repair shop and a lot of extra money spent on maintenance. You can replace your shoe heel caps yourself at home for significantly less money. Heel tips come in different sizes and shapes, so make sure you buy the correct pair for your favorite shoes.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't have a hammer, you can tap the shoe heel against a hard surface, such as a counter top.
If the metal shaft has worn down, you won't be able to replace the heel cap yourself and will need to take the shoe to a repair shop.
