1
Lay a pizza pan on top of a sheet of freezer paper. Trace around the edge of the pizza pan to create a perfectly round circle on the freezer paper.
-
2
Cut out the template traced on the freezer paper with a pair of sharp scissors.
-
-
3
Fold your fabric in half with the right side of the fabric facing each other. Lay it on a flat surface.
-
4
Pin the template onto the two layers of fabric so that the pins go through the template and the folded layers. Place pins 2 to 3 inches apart on the outside edge of the fabric.
-
5
Cut around the template to create two circles of fabric that are the same size. Remove the pins and the template.
-
6
Hold the two circles together with the right sides of the fabric facing one another. Place the end of the trim along the edge of the fabric. Pin the trim on the edge of one side of the fabric. Continue pinning the trim around the edge of the fabric until you reach your starting point. Cut off any excess trim.
-
7
Sew all of the layers of the fabric and trim together 1/2 inch from the edge of the circles using a sewing machine or needle and thread. Leave a 2-inch opening and 2 inches of the trim unsewn.
-
8
Turn the circle inside out through the 2-inch opening, allowing the right sides of the fabric to face away from one another.
-
9
Fill the cushion with fiberfill until you reach the desired firmness. Stuff the fiberfill through the 2-inch opening that you left when sewing the circles together.
-
10
Sew the opening closed using a needle and thread. Fold the edges under until they are even with the closed edge and place the trim between the layers. Pull your threaded needle through all layers of fabric. Continue sewing until you have closed the opening.
