How to Get a Treasury List on the Featured Page
In the Etsy online marketplace, members create lists of products sold by other members to share with the community and site visitors in a shopping gallery area called the Treasury. Etsy staff regularly review Treasury lists and choose part or all of a list to feature on the Etsy home page as well as on shopping pages and in promotional emails. The featured list exposure can help bump sales and product awareness for members whose items appear on the list and link back to the list creator. To get a list featured, learn the criteria by which the staff judges Treasury lists.

Create your Treasury list based on current Etsy marketing themes. Go to the Etsy Blog (see Resources), type “merchandising desk” and the name of the current month in the Search field at the top of the screen, then click the “Search” button. Investigate all theme-related and Treasury content, including the Treasury Tip.

Write a creative or catchy phrase for a list title that captures the theme and your collection. Write a detailed description in the provided field about the collection, such as why you like the specific products you chose.

Select only one item from a shop for your list so that the 16 items in your list are from 16 different shops. Etsy staff look at the way you favor other shops through your list. In addition, don’t include any items from your shop on the list.

Organize the product images in your list to match the theme. In addition, organize the images so that colors and styles complement each other.

Tag your list with theme- and product-related words. For example, if your list is of 16 favorite holiday ornaments, tag the list with relevant words such as “holiday,” “ornaments” or “Christmas.” If your list is a gift list, tag it with “gift guide.”

Tips & Warnings
Make a lot of Treasury lists to try to get at least one featured, as Etsy doesn’t limit the number of Treasury lists you can create.
When Etsy features a Treasury list on the home page, you can edit and update the list on your shop page, but not on the home page.
Don’t include mature products in your list unless the entire list is focused on adult products and is theme-related. If you have a Treasury list of mature products, use “mature” as one of the tags.
Use of potentially offensive language in the title or description of your Treasury list can result in featured list disqualification or removal of the list from the website.
