How to Change Your Background on a Logitech Webcam
Disguising your location in a video chat is a creative way to fool your friends and family. However, while Logitech offers a variety of webcam models, only QuickCam models are compatible with the company’s webcam effects software that lets you add a background image to your live webcam chat. In addition to providing pre-made background templates, the program allows you to upload and use personal digital images.

Go to “Start” and click “All Programs.” Open the “Logitech” folder and select “Logitech QuickCam.” When the software launches, the QuickCam ribbon appears to the right of your webcam image.

Click the window shade icon located under the masks icon on the QuickCam ribbon. The “Privacy Shade” window appears.

Scroll through the available privacy shades and select your preferred image. It is inserted in the background of your webcam image automatically. You can also upload your own background images by clicking the “Browse for Photos” button at the bottom of the Privacy Shade window.
