How to Put IMVU on Tagged
On Tagged, like other social networking websites, you can locate people that share similar interests, such as IMVU users who also have Tagged accounts. One way to find and create friendships with these users away from the IMVU 3D chat messenger and website is by putting your IMVU information on Tagged. Two main areas where you can quickly post IMVU information is on your Profile page and on Tagged Forums threads about IMVU or similar topics.

Log in to your account on the IMVU home page, and then click your Avatar name to access the Avatar home page. Highlight the page URL with your cursor in the My URL section. Press “Ctrl” and “C” on your computer keyboard, or right-click the URL and select “Copy” from the pop-up menu, to copy the URL.

Sign in to your Tagged account on the Tagged home page, and then click “Profile” near the top of the screen to access the Profile screen.

Scroll to the About Me section, and click the “Add More Fields” option.

Type a title such as “IMVU:” or “My IMVU:” in the new About Me field title area. If you want to create a field that lists your IMVU URL with URLs for other social networking sites where you have accounts, type “My URLs:” or “My Other Networks:” in the field.

Click in the field, and then press “Ctrl” and “V” on your computer keyboard, or right-click the field and select “Paste” from the drop-down menu, to paste your IMVU URL in the field.

Enter any additional details in the field as desired depending on the title of the field. For example, enter IMVU-related information such as your Avatar’s name, what you like about IMVU and the names of IMVU chat rooms you frequent. If you’re listing social network account links, enter a short description about IMVU, and then post other site links with short descriptions for each site.

Click “Save” to update your About Me section with the new field.

Log in to your IMVU account, and copy your IMVU URL on your Avatar home page.

Go to the Tagged home page, sign in to your account, click the “Groups” tab and then click the “Find Groups >” link.

Scroll through the available Tagged groups until you find an IMVU or similar topic group, and then click “Join Group” to become a member of the group.

Post your IMVU details and URL on an existing group forum thread or create your own topic thread. In an existing thread, paste your IMVU link as a signature with a comment in the “Post Reply:” field, and then click the "Send" button. To post on your own thread, click “Start a Topic,” enter a thread title such as “Share IMVU URLs,” paste your IMVU URL, and then click “Send.”

Tips & Warnings
If you can’t find an IMVU group quickly in the Find Groups area, go to your favorite online search tool and bring up a list of links to IMVU groups on Tagged using keywords such as “IMVU group Tagged” or “IMVU site:.tagged.com.”
Never post IMVU Designer/Creator product graphics, a direct link to your IMVU Catalog “Products By…” page or requests for other users to buy your IMVU Catalog products on your Tagged profile page. Solicitation goes against the Tagged Member Conduct Terms of Service, and you risk account cancellation for noncompliance.
