How to Do Circle Weaves

A circle weave can instantly enhance your appearance. Because circle weaves are not attached to your own hair, they're ideal if your hair is damaged and needs time to restore. Circle weaves are glued to a stocking cap that covers your hair. They're attached in a circle around your head, which makes it easy to create bangs. Additionally, circle weaves take less time to put in compared to sew-in weaves. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Braid the hair of the person desiring a circle weave. Make vertical or horizontal cornrow braids to attach the hair to the scalp.

    • 2

Cover the hair with a plastic shower cap. The shower cap helps keep the bonding glue off the hair.

    • 3

Put a stocking cap over the shower cap. Tuck the bottom of the shower cap into the stocking cap so you can't see any of the plastic sticking out.

    • 4

Apply weave bonding glue to the track of the weave extension. Distribute the glue along the beginning part of the track and keep adding more glue as you attach the weave to the stocking cap.

    • 5

Stick the weave track onto the bottom edge of the stocking cap at the back of the head. Start behind the ear on the left side of the head, and drape the weave in a half-moon shape toward the back of the right ear. Add light pressure to the track so it adheres to the stocking cap.

    • 6

Drape the weave track over front of the stocking cap, so bangs start forming. Keep gluing and draping the weave track i n a circular fashion until you return to your starting point.

    • 7

Move the track half an inch upward and begin your second circle. Keep gluing and draping the weave until it covers the entire head. Use a new track if your first track runs out, or cut the track if it's too long.

    • 8

Cut and style the weave as desired.
