How to Go to the Next Song on IMVU
IMVU is an online virtual world where users can interact with friends as digital avatars. These users can purchase 3D environments, clothing and other objects. IMVU released a music feature in late 2008 that allowed users to buy songs, create playlists and share music with other avatars. Users have access to both independent music produced by users and the four major record companies. If the friends don’t feel like listening to a particular song in the playlist, they can go to the next song.

Log into IMVU. Upload the song into the previewer by opening it. At the bottom is a “Sound In” option. Click “Browse” and select the song. Check the “Sound In” drop-down menu to see if the name of your song is in the menu. If it is, you have successfully uploaded the song.

Click “Apply” to apply the changes to the previewer. Press “PlayModicon” to hear the song and see if it works. Click “File” and then click “Save As.” Give the file a name.

Click “Submit Product to IMVU Catalog.” Don't sell the song if it's not your original creation. Select “Rings” in the “Location” drop-down menu. Write a description for the product.

Choose “General Audience” in the drop-down menu under “Product Rating.” Click “Browse” and locate an image for the preview image. The dimensions should be 100 wide by 80 tall and the image file should be no larger than 50 KB.

Upload the CFL file. It must be no larger than 2 MB. Take the text version of the link, copy it and paste it into the dialog box. Uncheck “Derivable” and “Bundlability.”

Go to IMVU accessories and hit refresh. You will see the song that you uploaded.

Click the music tab. On the right, you will see your collection of songs. Click the “add” button next to the song that you want to add. The music will appear in the mix queue.

Click the “X” on the right of the song selection to delete it, allowing you to move to the next song.

IMVU music can also be purchased at the virtual store.
Raise or lower the volume using the volume slider to the left of the music menu.
Users can play music downloaded on IMVU on any device that can play an MP3.
You can't play music by yourself. You must have someone else in the room with you.
Creating a mix requires that you have at least three songs.
