How to Use Code Breaker for PS2

The CodeBreaker is an accessory made by Pelican that alters a video game's code, giving the user various cheats and other advantages. The PlayStation 2 iteration of the device is easy to use, and requires only the disc and a memory card. CodeBreaker is not compatible with all games, and the cheats available will vary from game to game.

Insert a memory card into one of your PlayStation 2's memory card slots and power on the console.

Insert the CodeBreaker disc and wait for the source select menu to pop up.

Select the memory card you want to save the codes to using the "X" button. The CodeBreaker's main menu should pop up.

Highlight and select the "Select Cheats" option using the "X" button.

Scroll down through the list of games (there will be several hundred) and highlight the game for which you wish to install cheats. Press "Right" on the direction pad when you reach the desired game. This will bring up a list of available cheats.

Highlight the cheat(s) you wish to enable and press the "X" button to toggle them on and off. Press "Start" when finished to return to the main menu.

Highlight and select "Start Game." You will then be prompted to eject the CodeBreaker disc and insert the desired game disc. Do not power off the console while ejecting or inserting the game disc.
