How to Open a .Gtx File

Save

GTX files, or Genetica Texture Packs, are created by the Genetica software, a powerful and versatile graphics editor. Genetica is capable of creating seamless and animated textures, as well as HDRI environment maps. It exports GTX files in a procedural format and you can use the free Genetica Viewer to render and convert them to standard images. All you have to do is get the Genetica Viewer, install it and use it to open the GTX file.

Things You'll Need

  • Microsoft .NET Framework
  • Open your favorite Web browser and navigate to the official website of Spiral Graphics and locate the Genetica Viewer tool in the Downloads section of the website. Click the "Click to download the free Genetica Viewer 3.5" link to start the download.
