How to Troubleshoot a Scorpion Sprayer
Pressure washers clean debris from large areas by releasing highly pressurized water out of a specially designed spout. 1
Ensure the Scorpion Sprayer is connected to a working outlet if the machine does not start. Reset the circuit breaker by locating the breaker assigned to the outlet and switching the breaker to the “off” position. Wait 30 seconds, and then flip the switch to the “on” position. If this does not work, make sure the outlet is working by plugging in another electronic device. If this device works, the problem may be with the sprayer’s motor or control board.

2
Check the fuel lines if you have a gas operated Scorpion Sprayer. Make sure the fuel lines are not kinked or leaking, and the gas tank is filled with the proper gasoline and oil mixture.

3
Review the water inlet pipe, which is located on the engine’s side. Make sure the water inlet is free of dirt or debris, as these obstructions prevent water from entering the sprayer.

4
Scan the washer tubing extending from the motor to the nozzle. Look for holes or leaks. If you’re experiencing low pressure, there may be a leak in the washer tubing. If a leak is found, replace the tubing. Make sure the connection between the tubing and pressure nozzle is secure.

Check the sprayer nozzle for dirt and debris. Remove the nozzle from the hose, and inspect the interior for debris. Clean with a wire brush and replace. Make sure the nozzle is securely attached to the hose.
