1
Hold your finger above the outer edge of your left eyebrow. Move your finger up to your hair line and create a part down your hair at this point. Brush or comb out the section of hair on the right of the part line and secure it in a hair elastic for now.
-
2
Brush or comb the left section of the hair upward toward the part line. Separate the hair into small half-inch-wide sections. Braid each section in cornrows upward toward the part line. Secure each braid with tiny hair elastics for now.

3
Release the right section of hair. Gather one section of hair about 1/2 inch wide all the way along the part line. Braid this section of hair. Divide the remainder of the hair into 1-inch sections. Braid each section, beginning at the braid at the part line and working downward, toward your right ear.
-
4
Cut a piece of the hair-weaving thread. Make the piece about 24 inches long. Thread it onto the C-shaped needle and knot the ends of the thread together.
-
5
Gather all of the braids into one hand just above your right ear and twist the braids together. Lay the twisted braids as flat as possible against your head. Use the needle to weave in and out of the braids to secure the hair in place.
-
6
Thread a new piece of weaving thread onto the needle. Make the piece about 40 inches long and tie the ends together in a knot.
-
7
Lay the edge of the weave over top of the braid along the part line. Hold the weave in place and sew the weave into the hair, beginning at the front hair line. Make a stitch every 1/4 inch all the way along the weave. If there is extra weave left over when you reach the nape of your neck, fold the weave over, back along the previous section of track and continue to sew it in place. Do not cut the weave.

Tips & Warnings
Adding the weave to your hair is not difficult but it does help to have an extra set of hands nearby for hard-to-reach places behind your head.
If you prefer to part your hair on the opposite side, hold your finger above the outer edge of your right eyebrow and move it upward to your hair line. Make the part at this point.
