How to Get Glossy Eyelids

Brigthen a natural makeup look by adding some gloss to it.

There are different ways you can use make up to enhance the natural beauty of your eyes and face. Glossy eyelids can brighten smaller eyes or illuminate darker eye colors. Eye shadow with glitter can be used to enhance the bright, glossy look you are trying to achieve.

Things You'll Need

• Cream eye shadow
• Makeup remover
• Glossy lip balm

Instructions

1. Clean your eyelids completely using makeup remover. This will ensure your eyes are free of any previous makeup and give you a clean canvas to work with.

2. Pick two cream eye shadows that complement each other in a metallic color. Powder eye shadow can be used, however, it may cause a creased look on the eyelid.

3. Apply the lighter cream eye shadow on the eyelid first. Cover the entire eyelid with this color.

4. Draw a line with the darker eye shadow along the bottom half of the eyelid along the eyelashes.

5. Apply glossy lip balm over the entire eye using your middle or ring fingers.

• Keep a compact mirror and lip gloss with you for touch ups during the day when the look starts to fade.
