How to Achieve a Feathered Hairstyle Look

Part your hair in the center with a straight brush.

Segment a small section of hair at the front of your head, just below the part.

Clip the section of hair into a large-diameter curling iron.

Roll the hair around the curling iron, rotating the iron towards the back of your head.

Hold the rod in place for five or six seconds, then release.

Continue to work along both sides of the part, curling the hair in sections from back to front, until all hair has been curled.

Run your fingers through the curls, lightly separating and fluffing them.

Secure your hair in place using hairspray.
