How to Create a Flash Intro Movie in CS5
Adobe Flash CS5 provides tools to help you create dynamic animations such as banners or intro movies. Introduction banners are the first page your visitor will see when visiting your site and can provide interesting and valuable information. Create a custom intro movie for your website with tools provided in the Flash CS5 interface.

Open Flash. Select “File” and “New” to create a new file. Press “Ctrl” and “F3” to view the Properties panel if it is not visible. Press “Ctrl” and “S” and save your project, for example, as “introMovie.fla.” Use Flash menus and tools to create a movie with animated text.

Click the “Size” button and set the project to 550H x 350W. Click “OK.” Select the “Background” button and choose a dark color, such as dark blue.

Select “Text” from the Tools panel and type your text, for example: “Welcome to Your Future.” Set the text to a gold color. Click the text and drag it to the left of the stage.

Click frame 90 of the timeline. Press “F6” to create a new keyframe. Drag the text in this frame to the center of the stage. Click frame 1 and set the “Tween” to “Motion.”

Click frame 150 and create a new keyframe. Press “F9” to display the “Actions” window and type the following:
getURL("http://www.mysite.com/targetpage.html ");
Set the URL to the page you want to display when the intro movie is done.

Press “Ctrl” and “Enter” to test the project.
