Turn off your oven, wait for it to cool, and open the door. Lift the metal latches covering the hinges up to unlock the hinges. Lift the oven door up and off the oven.

Place the oven door face down on a work surface.

Remove the screws on the borders of the inside panel of the Amana oven door. Remove the panel and you will notice two thin slots on either side of the door. These are the hinge slots.

Remove the screws securing the damaged hinge assembly to the slot. Remove the hinge assembly.

Slide a new hinge assembly into the slot and replace the screws.

Fit the oven door over the oven. Align the metal hinges with the bottom corners of the oven frame.

Pull the metal latches in the oven frame down so they cover the hinges. The hinges are now locked in place.
