      Slide the drawer out of the cabinet. Lift up on the drawer to get it to come off of the slide track. Some drawer slides have a lever you pull to release the drawer from the cabinet.

      Place a screwdriver on one of the screws holding the slide onto the inside of the cabinet. Turn the screw in the counter-clockwise direction to loosen the screw. Remove the screw. Repeat this for each of the remaining screws. Take the drawer slide off of the cabinet.

      Set the cabinet drawer on a table with a slide facing the top. Use the screwdriver to remove the screws holding the slide to the drawer. Take the slide off of the cabinet drawer. Repeat this process for the rest of the cabinet door slides.

Tips & Warnings

  • Take care not to damage the cabinets when removing the slides. The replacement slides must fit in the same place as the old slides to function properly.
