When you purchase an iPod, you need to decide how much space is necessary to hold all of your music, videos and movies. IPods are available in sizes up to 160 GB for extensive media libraries. You need to download media and then transfer it to your device using your computer. Although you may only add music to your iPod using Apple's iTunes software, you can download the media from any program you prefer. Download music using FrostWire, then transfer it to your iPod so you can have your media collection with you wherever you go.

      Launch FrostWire and type the artist or song title in the search box in the upper-left corner of the window. Press "Enter" to search.

      Double-click the song you want to download and wait for it to finish downloading.

      Minimize the FrostWire window, then open iTunes to add or remove songs from your iPod.

      Connect your iPod to your computer with the USB cable.

      Click "File," then choose either "Add File to Library" or "Add Folder to Library."

      Navigate to "C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\FrostWire\Saved" and select the song to add to your library.

      Click "Sync" to add the new music from FrostWire to your iPod.

      Disconnect your iPod from the computer after you've transferred the songs.
