How to Sync Aperture Vaults

Aperture is a graphics editing application developed by Apple, Inc. for the Mac OS X operating system. The vault feature in Aperture allows its users to create backup files containing the projects they are currently working on. When syncing a vault, Aperture checks if some of the files contained in the project saved in the vault have recently been modified by the user. If that is the case, Aperture updates those files within the vault. You can sync vaults in Aperture by using a specific command.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the "Window" menu and select "Show vaults.'

    • 2

Select the vault you wish to sync.

    • 3

Click on the "Sync" icon next to that vault's name. Wait for Aperture to finish syncing that vault.
