Tips & Warnings
Once your homemade parabolic antenna is attached to your router's antenna, turn the parabolic antenna's cardboard panel in the direction of your office or computer. A normal wireless router broadcasts a Wi-Fi signal evenly in all directions. The parabolic antenna concentrates and amplifies that signal in a single direction, leading to increased signal strength. Point the antenna toward any part of your home or office where you will be using Wi-Fi.
