Instructions

    • 1

Measure the dimensions of the log cabin wall that you wish to hide. Double the length of the wall to give your fabric panel a wavy curtain-like look, and write down the number for reference in addition to the height of the wall.

    • 2

Cut or purchase fabric pieces that add up to the numbers in your measurements. Arrange them into in two or three sections if desired, or use one large piece. Hem the fabric ends for a finished appearance. Use curtains as an alternative to fabric.

    • 3

Install one eye hook on either side of the log cabin wall’s top corners. Thread a high-tension wire between the two eye hooks, pulling the wire tight and securing it with wire rope clips on either end.

    • 4

Place a row of curtain clips across the suspended wire. Clip the fabric or curtains along the wire and stretch it so it spans the wall.

Tips & Warnings

  • Select a fabric type that goes along with the look you have planned for the room. Stick to light-colored fabrics to brighten up the room. Use a bold pattern to create an artistic appeal. Avoid using sheer fabrics so you can completely hide the walls.
