How Do I Tie a Ladies Scarf?
There are endless ways to tie a ladies scarf, but, unfortunately, recreating the same look as your friend can be easier said than done. A classic, silk square is a suitable scarf to begin with, although the tying styles are vast, from the muffler to the square knot and a variety of others. First, find a scarf you love in your own closet or buy one at a department store and spend time folding it, knotting it and tying it. Lay out the silk square so it is flat. Fold the scarf into a triangle by joining two corners of the scarf. Gently roll the scarf into a tube shape.

Grasp the scarf, which has been rolled into a long tube with both hands, and loop it around your neck. Both ends of the scarf should hang down on your chest.

Take each end, using both hands, and tie a simple knot in the scarf around your neck, letting each hang loosely down. The fabric should begin to unroll, allowing more of the pattern in the scarf to show.

Shift the knot to the side of your neck, letting one end hang by your chest and one end hang down your back.
