- Pumice stone
- Moisturizer containing lactic acid or glycolic acid
- Anti-bacterial moisturizer
- Petroleum jelly
- Socks

Rub heels gently in a hot shower with a pumice stone to remove dry skin.

Apply a moisturizer that contains a glycolic acid or a lactic acid to speed up dry skin removal and moisturizing.

Apply an anti-bacterial moisturizer to the heels, adding extra moisturizer on the cracked areas. This will help keep infection away.

Apply a generous amount of petroleum jelly to your heels after moisturizing and immediately put socks on. Wear the socks overnight for additional moisturizing.

Avoid wearing sandals or backless shoes because they expose the heels to the elements. Keeping your feet covered will help prevent dryness and speed up the healing process.
