Adding PS3 Demos Through a Mac
Playstation 3 (PS3) demos allow you access to games before purchasing them. This is not only a test service for users, but it’s a way to market games as well. Most game demos can be downloaded through your PS3 main menu. However, if demos are older or rare, you can download them through torrent sites online. Once you download these files on your Mac computer, you can share with the network to access on your PS3.

Power on your Mac and connect to the Internet. Find the website you wish to download the PS3 demos from. Complete the torrent or direct download. Save to “My Documents” or one of the subfolders such as “My Videos.”

Connect the PS3 to the router using an Ethernet cable. Connect your computer to the same router.

Open the network sharing on your Mac. Turn on sharing. Reboot both the Mac and PS3.

Access the demos through the folder you saved the demos to on your Mac. These will be available under PS3’s main menu.
