Press the "More" button on the Bose remote control. Cycle to the right with the unit's directional keys to select from the "Options" list.

Press "OK" on the remote to alter settings for the current device in use. Bose theater systems allow individual bass settings per source.

Press the down arrow button on the Bose remote, until you highlight the "Bass Options" selection.

Press the left or right directional buttons to enter the "Bass Options" submenu. Adjust the level of the subwoofer up and down as desired, using the up and down directional keys.

The range of adjustment for the Bose subwoofer is dependent on whether the ADAPTiQ calibration process has been run. With calibration, range is -9 to +6 decibels. Without calibration, the range is -14 to +14.
