How to Not Aim Down the Scope in Splinter Cell Conviction

Developed for the Xbox 360 and PC, “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction” is the fifth video game in the “Splinter Cell” franchise. This game allows you to use scoped weapons to take down distant targets. If you do not want to use the scope on a weapon, you can simply press the “Fire” button to shoot without using it. However, shooting without aiming down the scope will decrease a weapon’s accuracy.

Instructions

1. Launch Splinter Cell: Conviction on your Xbox 360 or PC.

2. Select the “Continue Story” or “Scene Select” options on the Splinter Cell: Conviction main menu to load the game.

3. Select a scoped weapon using the D-Pad DOWN button or the mouse wheel.

4. Press the RT button on your Xbox 360 controller or the left-mouse button on your mouse to shoot without aiming down the scope.

Tips & Warnings

• Click the right analog stick or the right-mouse button to aim down the scope.
