How to Troubleshoot a DNS-323
The D-Link DNS-323 is a dual bay network storage enclosure that allows you to share two hard drives over your network. When connected, the DNS-323 serves as a network storage drive to back up important files and transfer data between devices on the network. Problems with the DNS-323 are often caused from loose connections and can be quickly resolved to get the device back into working order.

Check the Ethernet connection from the networking port on the rear of the DNS-323. Make sure the cable is completely inserted into the port on the DNS-323 and a "LAN" jack on your router.

Perform a power-cycle to your router to reestablish a connection to the DNS-323. Unplug the power cable from the rear of your router. Leave the cable unplugged for 30 seconds before reconnecting it to the router. The router will reestablish a connection to the DNS-323.

Reset the DNS-323 to factory settings as minor changes in the configuration can be disrupting the proper function of the device. Press the "Reset" button on the rear of the DNS-323 to restore the device to the original operating condition.
