Army belts must be worn in accordance with regulations.

United States Army members wear a belt for functionality and fashion and as a tradition. Army belt fabric is typically black cotton web or black woven elastic. The belt buckle may be black and open-faced or made from brass. Placement of the belt buckle varies between males and females. The black tip belt is for utility uniforms, while the brass tip belt is for service and dress uniforms. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Slide on your Army uniform pants.

    • 2

Line up the black open-faced buckle or the brass buckle with the buttons on your Army shirt.

    • 3

Weave the black belt through the belt loops on your pants.

    • 4

Push the tipped end of the belt through the buckle to your left side. When wearing a brass tip belt, females must pass the tipped end to their right side. The tipped end of the black tip belt may extend up to 2 inches past the edge of the buckle. The tipped end of the brass tip belt may extend past the end of the buckle, but no fabric must be visible and you must be able to see the brass tip. The non-tipped end of both belts may extend past the keeper portion of the buckle as long as it isn't visible when worn.
