How to Make Baby Shower Corsages for Guests Quickly
Giving baby shower guests corsages is a charming and traditional way to welcome them as they come through the door. Whether the corsages are purely decorative or tokens in a party game, they help guests get into the spirit of the gathering. If you don't have enough time to labor over complicated bouquets, you can assemble quick, simple corsages before your party. Choose an elegant floral arrangement or a whimsical floral imitation according to the mother-to-be's style.

Floral Corsage
-
1
Pinch the stem of a flower bud between the stems of two sprigs of small flowers. Trim the stems of the flowers to approximately 2 inches long.
-
2
Tie the stems together with florist's wire. Hide the wire by wrapping a decorative ribbon over it and tie the ribbon in a bow.
-
-
3
Attach a safety pin to the back of the ribbon. Use the pin to fix the corsage to a guest's shirt.
Wipe Corsage
-
4
Open a travel-sized packet of baby wipes. Use the smallest packet you can find. Pull the top two or three wipes through the opening.
-
5
Arrange the wipes to look like flower petals. If they are too floppy to fall properly, tie them at the opening with a thin piece of ribbon to give them a little more lift and shape them into a floral design.
-
6
Poke a safety pin through the back of the packet. Use the pin to attach the corsage to a guest's shirt.
Bootie Corsage
-
7
Flatten a baby sock or bootie. Beginning at the toe, roll it into a spiral. Roll it on a diagonal instead of exactly even, so it looks like a tulip or rosebud from the side.
-
8
Fold back the ankle of the sock or bootie to frame the bud. If the baby is a girl and you have frilly socks, the frill will create a pretty ruffle.
-
9
Pin the roll in place with a diaper pin. Attach a safety pin to the back of the sock for the guests to use.
