How to Crochet Horse Mane
After crocheting a horse, you will want to make it look complete with a long, beautiful mane made of yarn. Cut approximately 20 pieces of yarn in 6-inch pieces with scissors.

Insert the crochet hook where you want the top of the horse mane to be.

Hook the middle of two stands of yarn with the crochet hook. Pull them halfway through the hole to make a small loop.

Draw both ends of the yarn through the small loop. Pull them tightly to secure the yarn.

Loop and pull the yarn across the back of the horse's neck until the mane reaches the desired length. Trim the yarn evenly with scissors.

If you want the horse mane to be thicker, loop four pieces of yarn instead of two.
Adjust the length of the yarn depending on the size of the horse.
