If your hair is longer than your shoulders, you have enough length to coil the braids around in princess fashion. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Squirt a small amount of hair mousse into your hands and work it through your hair evenly. The mousse will help control flyaways and make your hair more manageable.
-
2
Brush your hair thoroughly to remove tangles.
-
-
3
Pull your hair back into a sleek ponytail at the center back of your head. Secure the ponytail tightly with an elastic hair band.
-
4
Divide the ponytail in half. Braid each half of the ponytail into two separate braids and fasten the end of each braid with an elastic hair band.
-
5
Coil the two braids around into a large braided bun on the back of your head. Because you have two braids to coil, you can make a larger bun. Continue coiling the braids around until you reach the ends of the braids. Tuck the ends of the braids into the center of the bun.
-
6
Insert one hair stick into the bun at the upper right corner, weaving the end of the stick in and out through the coiled braids diagonally so the end of the stick protrudes out from the upper right corner of the bun. The tip of the stick should be inside the bun. Repeat the same process with the other hair stick, inserting it into the bun at the upper left corner. The hair sticks will hold the coiled braids in place neatly and effectively.
-
7
Spray the braided bun lightly with hair spray to hold it securely.

Tips & Warnings
As you insert the hair sticks, never force them into the braids or you may break them. The hair sticks should glide easily through your hair as you weave them in and out of the braids.
