The term viking refers to any Scandinavian warrior, merchant, explorer or pirate. The common dress is a tunic with fur and leather accents, tall boots and a helmet with two horns. Instructions

    • 1

Cut a jagged triangular edge on the bottom of the t-shirt. Buy a t-shirt that is long enough to be a tunic. Cut off the sleeves. Cut a long piece of leather rope for the belt.

    • 2

Glue fur trim around the shoulder seams of the tunic. Put on the tunic and wrap the leather rope around your waist and tie a knot. If it is cold outside or you want more coverage, wear sweatpants under the tunic.

    • 3

Glue fur trim to the top of the boots. Cut the bill of the baseball cap off and glue fur trip around the edge of the hat.

    • 4

Mold the tin foil in the shape of two horns. Crumple the tin foil first so the shape is firm. Cover the tin foil with masking tape then paint with white paint letting the masking tape show through slightly. Glue the horns to the baseball cap.

    • 5

Put on the tunic, boots and helmet. Accessorize your costume with a fake sword or dagger.
