Instructions

    • 1

Apply a thin but even layer of pressed powder over your eyelids. This will create a matte, easy-to-work-on canvas for the eyeshadow that won't crease.

    • 2

Apply the lighter of the two-tone eyeshadow colors over the eyelid, from lash line to crease, using an eyeshadow brush. Scene makeup usually features bright or dramatic colors, like purple, blue, green or bronze, but you can use any two-tone eyeshadow palette to create the look.

    • 3

Apply the darker of the two tones over the crease of the eyes as well as on the lower lid line.

    • 4

Apply white eyeshadow underneath the brow to highlight the look and tie it all together.

    • 5

Use your finger tip to pat the line where any two colors meet until they blend together.

    • 6

Apply black eyeliner on the top lids in a cat-eye style. For a darker, more dramatic look, you can apply the liner around the entire eye.

    • 7

Give the top and bottom lashes two coats of black mascara.
