How to Load a Slant Razor
As they grow dull with use the blades inside your razor no longer offer the same smooth, irritation-free performance. Slant razors feature an angled design that allows the blade to better conform to the contours of the face. The head of the razor disassembles, allowing access to the double-sided razor blade inside. Using a fresh, sharp blade provides a closer shave and less irritation. Loading the new blade correctly ensures that it remains firmly in place for a safe and effective cut. Does this Spark an idea?

Hold both sides of the razor head with one hand while turning the handle of your slant razor counterclockwise. Some models -- such as the two-piece -- require turning the bottom of the handle, rather than the body. When loosening the handle maintain a grip on the razor head to prevent the individual pieces from falling apart.

Remove the top piece covering the blade from the piece directly beneath the blade. Carefully lift the old blade off the head, and discard.

Fit the replacement blade onto the razor head, aligning the three holes in the blade with the three holes on the razor head.

Set the the top piece onto the surface of the blade. A set of the three posts on the underside of the top piece interlock with the blade.

Turn the handle -- or bottom of handle -- clockwise into the razor head to secure all pieces together.
