How to Get French Horn Valves Unstuck

How to Get French Horn Valves Unstuck thumbnail
A French horn is made up of about 12 to 13 feet of wrapped tubing.

A French horn is a member of the brass family. Horn players have one of the widest ranges of all brass instruments, with many players able to reach a range of five octaves. Valves on a French horn are usually referred to as rotary valves. Stuck valves and keys can sometimes occur in a horn that has not been played for a long time. Regular maintenance can care for your French horn, as cleanings with rotary valve oil will help prevent stuck valves.
