How to Import Dolphin to phpFox

Dolphin and phpFox are two scripting databases. They run on the backend of your website or server, managing the scripts that users run to be both fast and efficient. Migrating from Dolphin to phpFox is easy. As a competitor, the company encourages you to do so by offering an automatic import tool. Running this will move all your scripts and settings over to the new program.

Instructions

    • 1

Log into your server/site’s control panel and click “phpFox.”

    • 2

Hover your mouse over the “Import” link. A window will pop up.

    • 3

      Click “Import Dolphin.”

    • 4

Enter any custom tables you created in Dolphin into the next page under “Media Table” and “User Table.” If you didn’t create custom tables, leave these empty.

    • 5

      Check the “Extra Info” box.

    • 6

Click “Start.” Depending on the size of your Dolphin database, this could take up to an hour.
