How Do You Reapply Ugg Protectant to Your Uggs?
Lined sheepskin boots are ideal for most leisurely activities, whether it's relaxing on the porch on a cool evening or window shopping on a brisk fall day. UGG of Australia, a major manufacturer of sheepskin boots, offers a spray that should be applied intermittently to help protect and preserve the sensitive outer material. The spray helps waterproof the sheepskin from accidental spills or inclement weather. It also makes brushing off surface dirt and dried food spills quick and simple. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Inspect the outside of your boots for any patches of dirt or spots of dried food. Moisten a microfiber cloth with cool water and dab these areas thoroughly. Let the moist areas dry for several hours.
-
2
Brush the outside of both boots with a soft bristled brush. This helps remove dust and dirt which has settled into the grain of the sheepskin.

3
Shake the bottle of spray gently prior to application. Hold the nozzle roughly 6 inches from the outside of the boot and depress the trigger firmly to apply. Continue application until the skin darkens a shade. Perform the application for the second boot.

Tips & Warnings
Re-apply the protectant every three months, or after your boots have been through very wet weather.
Avoid over-application of the spray, as it can dry out the sheepskin and leave it tough to the touch.
