  • Fresh flowers
  • Floral foam squares
  • Floral foam spheres
  • Basket
  • Wooden sticks
  • Small funnel
  • Knife
  • Polystyrene foam product

Instructions

  1. Making a Floral Sculpture

    • 1

      Soak the floral foam in water for 30 minutes.

      Cut the polystyrene foam product to the size you want as your base. Place the square floral foam on top of the polystyrene foam product. Use the wooden sticks to hold the polystyrene foam product and floral foam together.

      Cut the square and sphere shaped floral foam to the size and shape of the desired sculpture. Use the wooden sticks to hold the floral foam together. Make sure the sculpture is attached to the base of the structure.

      Place a small funnel in the structure that can be easily hidden with flowers. This funnel will be used to water your arrangement so it will last longer.

      Place the stem of the flower into the floral foam. Make sure you have each flower securely placed. Continue placing the flowers in the floral foam until you can no longer see any of the foam.

    Making a Floral Basket

      Soak the floral foam in water for 30 minutes.

      Cut a piece of floral foam to fit inside the basket.

      Place a small funnel in the floral foam. The funnel will be used to water the arrangement so it will last longer.

      Place the stem of the flowers securely in the floral foam. Continue to place the flowers in the floral foam until your desired arrangement is achieved.
