How to Control Armpit Sweat for Guys
Sweating is a normal function of the human body. It helps regulate body temperature, hydrate skin and maintain a balance of chemicals and fluids in the body. The sweat glands under the arms, on the scalp and in the groin are called apocrine glands, and unlike eccrine glands, which secrete mainly water and salts, apocrine glands secrete a fatty sweat responsible for body odor. Sweating is normal and healthy, but some people suffer from hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating. This condition affects both men and women, and it can be both embarrassing and uncomfortable for the sufferer; however, if you are afflicted with this condition, you can use one of several ways to control excessive armpit sweat. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
Should perspiration continue to be a problem, visit your doctor for prescription antiperspirants or oral medication to help control excessive sweating. You might want to consider other treatments, such as Botox or acupuncture.
Underarm sweating often occurs when you are nervous or anxious; meditation, yoga or relaxation techniques can help control perspiration.
Deodorants alone do not control sweating; they only mask the smell. Purchase a deodorant that also contains an antiperspirant.
Alcohol, spices and coffee can exacerbate excessive sweating; try to avoid these foods.
