1. Find a small case you would like to store your fuel pressure gauge kit in. You'll want to select something large enough to hold the gauge and additional pieces. A hard pencil or craft case is an inexpensive option that will get the job done.

2. Purchase a 6-inch fuel pressure gauge, and the jets and fittings you will need for the particular type of vehicle you are working on. If you're trying to build an all-purpose kit, purchase fittings in a variety of sizes so you'll always have what you need for most vehicles.

3. Purchase some grommets to use while using your gauge, to protect against scratches or other damage while you're using your gauge.
