How to Use the Mini Bang Bumpit

Bangs get volume and a new style using these small combs.

We all have days when our hair falls limply around our faces, creating a dull and lifeless look for a night out or for a day at the office. The Bumpit line of products allows women with all hair colors and densities to create luxurious volume for up-dos and elegant, long hairstyles. Mini Bumpits are smaller than the original creation and are designed to sit nearer to the hairline just above the forehead to create volume when you pull back your bangs. With a few hair products and a little practice, you too can create that sexy, voluminous look.

Things You'll Need

• Hairbrush
• Bobby pins
• Hairspray

Instructions

1. Brush your hair thoroughly using a hairbrush. Ensure that your hair is dry if you have just washed it. Create a part about 2 inches away from your hairline, just above your forehead. The part should sit on top of your head, around where you would place a headband. If you have bangs, retain the part where your bangs begin.

2. Place the flat side of the Mini Bang Bumpit just behind the part you created in the previous step. Push down gently to ensure that the small teeth of the comb catch onto the main body of your hair.

3. Pull the hair at the front of the part you created and back over the Bumpit comb. Brush out any bumps or ridges in your hair before placing the hair onto the top of the Bumpit comb.

4. Push small bobby pins into the hair just behind the Bumpit comb to hold the hair in place. Spray a small amount of hairspray over the top of the bangs to create a smooth, even sheen.

• Ensure that you have enough hair parted at the front to cover the Bumpit from view.
