How to Make Graphs in "SigmaPlot"
SigmaPlot is a program designed for scientific data analysis and graphing. While SigmaPlot has many more advanced features, one of the first and most vital things you will have to learn is how to make a graph. Much of the SigmaPlot graphing process is automated so that you can focus on getting the data correct and altering the appearance of the graph itself. SigmaPlot offers a number of different graph types for different needs.

Open SigmaPlot. Click the "All Open Notebooks" icon, which you can find in the "Notebooks" panel. This will open a drop-down menu. Click "New," and then click "Notebook."

Enter the data that you would like to be graphed. Make sure that each piece of data is in the right column and row on the spreadsheet.

Highlight all the data in your spreadsheet. The cells should be blue when highlighted.

Click the "Create Graph" tab at the top of the window. The "Create Graph" tab is between the "Worksheet" and "Graph Page" tabs.

Click the type of graph that you would like to select. This will open a "Create Graph" window. The options available to you will differ depending on what kind of graph you are creating. Edit the available options and then click "Finish."

Click the graph. This will open a "Object Properties" frame on the right side of the window. From here, you can alter several properties of the graph itself, including color and transparency.

Click the graph's title. This will allow you to type in a new title for your graph. You can also change the font, font size and formatting in the "Object Properties" frame.
