Amazon's founder Jeff Bezos talks about the Kindle eBook reader.

You can use the Screen Clipping tool within Microsoft Office OneNote to grab pages of Kindle books and insert them into your notebooks. From there you can print the notebooks as you want. You need to open the Kindle book on the computer where you have OneNote installed, then you can use the Screen Clipping tool to select the portion of the screen where the Kindle book is displayed. You will only be able to print what's displayed on the Kindle screen at any one time.

Instructions

    • 1

Browse to read.amazon.com and enter your Amazon username and password. Click on the book that you want to print with OneNote to open it. It will open where you left off reading it.

    • 2

Navigate to the page you want to print. You can use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard or use the mouse to click the arrows to the left and right of the page on the screen.

    • 3

Launch OneNote and click on the "Insert" tab in the Microsoft Office ribbon. Click on the "Screen Clipping" button. Click and drag over the portion of the screen where your Kindle book appears. Release the mouse button when you're done.

Tips & Warnings

  • Adjust the font size margin settings in the Kindle Cloud Reader by clicking on the "Aa" button at the top of the page. You can make the font larger or smaller and adjust the margins.

  • Right click the picture of the Kindle document after it has been imported into OneNote. Select "Copy Text From Picture" and OneNote will perform optical character recognition on the picture to grab the text from it. You can then paste the text into a OneNote document or Word document to print.

  • You can also install a PC app for reading Kindle books on your computer. The Screen Clipping would remain the same, however.
